Windbag provides a simple and powerful means of
communication for people with no speech. It provides a method
of sorting large numbers of messages and finding them in smart
ways for rapid communication. It can be used with a keyboard,
or with any on-screen keyboard — ideally, The
Grid.
The Chat Box
The Windbag Chat Box is used for free conversation. It contains
a number of tools to speed up the rate of speech.
- Type in messages with abbreviation/expansion and word prediction.
- Speak pre-stored texts by line, sentence, or paragraph — or speak selected text.
- Instant responses with a single key, or 26 instant messages with two keys.
- Load and save the contents of the Chat Box for future use — ideal for presentations.

The Phrase
bank is a very powerful way to store a large number of messages
for instant retrieval.
- Store any number of phrases.
- Select from your 3,000 most commonly used phrases with only 3 selections.
- Most commonly used messages are automatically suggested first.
- Have common messages recorded by a friend.
- Leave gaps in messages to fill in as you speak.
- Intuitive Phrase Bank with messages arranged by context and topic.
- Search for the right message by text or using your own codes.
