The Mobi 2 is an ideal solution for users who are mobile and want a solid, portable tablet for everyday use.

The Mobi 2 is a portable and powerful tablet computer or a fully featured speech generating device with a 12” inch, clear and bright, touch screen display. The operating system is Windows 7 Pro (32-bit) and it has an 80GB hard drive with 1 GB RAM. It has high quality sound output, built-in switch jacks, a desk stand, and a Daessy-compatible mounting plate integrated into the casing. It is supplied with a tailor-made carry case with shoulder strap and handle, so that it can be used on the go.

The Mobi can be supplied with Mind Express or The Grid 2 software for communication, or you can install your own software, allowing the user to have both text-based and symbol-based input. A user can communicate face to face, over the internet, or by using the phone. It can be supplied as an integrated tablet PC or a dedicated speech generating device, launching only the communication program you have chosen.

The Mobi features a 12" XGA resistive touch screen and is available in different colors. Two built-in speakers provide loud volume. Switches can be connected directly on the back of the device.

The Mobi can optionally be equipped with a GSM mobile phone. This makes phone calls or sending text messages possible directly from your communication device. The GEWA infrared module for environmental control comes standard. Turn on your television, change channels on your cable box, or control your DVD player from your Mobi.
