Persona for Android is the text-to-speech augmentative/alternative communication program that offers complete portable communication wherever it’s needed. Interactive conversation is the goal. there are many built-in features like word completion and word prediction, and you can store frequently used phrases in topical categories, making it easy to keep the conversation flowing. And there is a forward facing display option to let your listener in on what you are typing before you speak, or when the room is too loud for normal volumes.

Beyond simple type and talk, Persona allows rapid access to pre-stored phrases. Messages and topic categories are easily created within the phrase bank. Abbreviation/Expansions are created in the user dictionaries. And even though the program’s operation is mostly intuitive, the quick access Help file provides the equivalent of a user’s guide and operation manual, and is available to you all the time, providing context specific help as you go.
