Control Medi Standard – A programmable IR transmitter with 28 functions

New design

Control Medi Standard is a newly developed infrared transmitter with a new design. It is user–friendly, with easy to press buttons created for people with motor and cognitive disabilities. It has eight (8) buttons and four (4) levels (28 functions) with the ability to send infrared (IR) signals, and can learn IR signals from virtually all IR remote controls in the world.

The Control Medi Standard also has a direct control feature, where you can use an external control switch to activate one signal on the device. This might be used for a call alarm, or any single function that you need to access with a single switch, like a sip or puff switch.

Confirmation

When you press a button, you can receive immediate feedback with vibration, sound, and light.

Labeling

You can easily create your own labeling for the transmitter. These labels help you remember what happens when you press a button. For labeling of buttons there is a Word document where several hundred different symbols are present that can be downloaded from Abilia's website. When the labeling is created it can be printed out on a regular printer. Cut it out and slide it in over the buttons on the transmitter.

Holder

To be able to attach Control Medi to a wheelchair or other mounting system, there is an optional holder.
